During our travels, Dan and I have been so fortunate to meet some of the most amazing, fun, and helpful people. Every adventure seems to come with a dash of excitement because you never know what kind of common ground or synchronicity might come our way.
Take our last trip, for example. I can’t even tell you how the conversation started, but within minutes, my day took a delightful turn. Dan mentioned something about checking out a truck at someone’s house a few miles down the road, and just like that, we were off. What followed was an unexpectedly enjoyable morning meeting a new friend and hearing the backstory of their 1984 Chevy. Let me tell you, this truck wasn’t just any old vehicle; it had a personality and a story that made it unforgettable.
Fast forward a week, and Dan and I found ourselves on a quick road trip to pick up that very truck. We brought her back to the ranch, where she’s already proving to be the perfect addition for life out here and for those occasional trips into town. It’s as if she was meant to find her way to us.
